I Saved $181 Ulta Haul + Reviews (Part 1)

Tips

First, make sure you have the Ulta Beauty app downloaded.

Then, locate and click the “Offers” tab.

You will click the activate buttons.

I activate them all.

This way you are getting all the possible points for your order, which is $money$ back for future purchases!

What Did I Buy?

This is a repurchase of the NYX jumbo eye pencil in the color “Milk.”

Review:

I often use this as an eyeshadow base so that colors stand out against the skin and have more pigmentation.

It sharpens like a pencil!
The creamy product will glide on your skin.
Everyday use & must-have!

Price:

At full price – $5.50

Advice: For this brand, watch for their buy one get one 50% off and their buy two get one free deal.
You should always pair it with the standard coupon (for more details scroll up).

NYX “Epic Wear” eyeliner

Yes, you need this.

I have three of these liners and would buy more in all the colors.
I bought a purple and yellow one, but they sent me two yellows.
We still love Ulta.
If you do winged eyeliner, then you need this type of tip for a liquid liner.
It helps me get the MOST precise point.

Worth it!

At full price – $10

Advice: NYX does a lot of cute, free gift sets, usually with a $15 purchase.
Get all your makeup staples at once, then try out some freebies.

Colourpop “BFF Ultra Fine” liquid liner.

I’m impressed.

This is an outstanding white, especially compared to the white on the Stila duo that I bought.

I will buy this again because the tip is more firm and allows for me to make small but thick enough lines for designs.

Love it.

At full price – $9

Advice: Before you buy it at one store or another, be sure you check their website too.

Sometimes a sale is going on with the brand that isn’t happening in retail stores.

Stila “Stay All Day” Dual-Ended Liquid Eye Liner.
This whole selection of duel-ended liners had me falling IN LOVE at first sight.

I might be the problem.

I went for the versatile black and white combination, but there are 12 color options.

There is a difference!
Most of the other colors have the “intense black” as the full-sized felt tip.

Sorry to say…

At full price – $30
I might have screwed up the product by using the white too close to an orange color.
Then the tip turned into a cream/tan color, not what I wanted.

That’s where the Colourpop one saved the day!
It was brighter and way less expensive.

Fenty Beauty Diamond Bomb All-Over Diamond Veil “How Many Carats?!”

Fenty – my 1st buy

I admired this from afar for too long!
I bought this and was not disappointed.

If you wear this, then you will instantly turn into a goddess, an ethereal being.

That’s a lot of $$$

At full price – $40

This is so beautiful, but I could only justify it by using my Ulta points.
It is expensive to live out your actual goddess moment but worth it.

The Original Makeup Eraser “I Heart You 7-Day Set”

Reduce, Reuse, Recycle

I turned my bedstand into a makeup-removing station at night.
That is the worst part of my routine, taking off all of my hard work off.
My makeup is heavy, so I also use micellar water.
Stop buying wipes, especially with alcohol in them.

Good for the Environment and Your Wallet

At full price – $25

This microfiber is so soft and doesn’t pull on your face causing wrinkles. It is gentle and only needs water.
You’ll stay looking young and save money.

Kitsch Eco-Friendly Cleansing Kit

I’ll say it again.

Stop using wipes and get this reusable cloth kit.
It will be easier on your skin, the environment, and your wallet.
Water is a lot healthier and cleaner.

How much?

At full price – $24

This is not as expensive in the long run, instead of those wipes.
Plus, wipes have additives in them.

Micro Magic Skin – Renewing Microdermabrasion Scrub

Your face will thank you.

Huh? Anyway, this scrub is very fine, hence the micro.
It gives a deep clean and reduces the size of pores if used every day for at least a week.

Money Magic

At full price – $15

This price is $4 less than Philosophy’s exfoliating facial wash.
I’ve compared the two.
Bliss is less expensive and the quality appeals to me more.
The grit wins my favor because it is not harsh enough to hurt your face but enough to get a deep clean.
