Anastasia products are a popular choice to lay down glorious eyebrows. My experience trying their products has been less than satisfied. Additionally, I explored inexpensive options that can create similar results with the same amount of effort. Below is the list of their products that I determined the significance of adding to a daily routine.

• Clear Brow Gel
• Dipbrow Pomade
• Brow Definer
• Brow Stencils

Brow Wiz $23

Anastasia’s Brow Wiz is a precision brow pencil, similar to the Benefit Precisely Brow. The Brow wiz has a 4.7 star rating on Ulta’s website. This product is over shopped and overrated. For the price of $23, you are better off getting an Milani or NYX brow product with precision. The Milani pencil only costs $8.99 and has the same component as the brow wiz, with the spoolie at the end. The downside is that the Milani pencil have less product. NYX microbrow pencil is $10, but there are many occassions that NYX offers sales on products and can be used with the Ulta coupon, as long as the minimum of $15 is spent. The NYX formula is creamy and as pigmented as the Anastasia, as well as has a high review rating. The NYX pencil has the same amount of product!

My experience with the Brow Wiz was not greater than any of the previously mentioned brow products when it came to outlining and defining detailed hairs. I was satisfied with the NYX brow pencil and did not notice it lasting any longer than the Brow Wiz, therefore I returned the Anastasia product.

Tinted Brow Gel $22

Are you joking? Go get the Essence brow mascara with 5 different shades for $2.99. Do not, I repeat, do not waste your money on the Anastasia product. The only difference between these two products is that the Anastasia product gels down your browns more. If for some reason none of the brow shades of Essence match, I’m looking at those with glorious red hair, then check out NYX. Their Dip Shape Go Longwear Pomade has 8 shades, including Auburn. The component has a brush that helps fill in the brows and create a perfect brow tail.

Clear Brow Gel $22

This is part 2 of “Are you serious?” Don’t even think about it. Essence comes through clutch with their $2.99 Lash and Brow Gel. Not only can you use it for clear brow gel, but also I’ve witnessed tons of people that are looking to lengthen their natural lashes without tinting them a color. Do not break your bank over this over-priced Anastasia Clear Brow Gel.

Dipbrow Pomade $21

I will admit that I have never used Anastasia’s ever so popular pomade. I do not think the product is worth my purchase, to result in my returning it. Anastasia does have 12 shades of colors, so if you aren’t absolutely needing one of those colors, then don’t bother your wallet.

Brow Definer $23

Once again, NYX is the answer. They have this Fill & Fluff for $11 with the SAME amount of product as the Anastasia Brow Definer. There is a difference with the other end being a brush instead of a spoolie, but I did not notice any real difference when it came to blending out the brows. If you are skeptical, then I would recommend using another brow spoolie you have on hand at home. Just a reminder, NYX typically has deals on their product line, and the Ulta $3.50 off coupon can be used even when there is a sale.

Brow Stencils $20

Here is the worthwhile product from Anastasia. If you hate when your brows are sisters and not twins or have no brows and want a quick solution to your brow needs, then grab this. No other brands are capitalizing this desired tool. This pack has 4 different types of brows with thick to thin with a variety of arch patterns.

For the price point, this is a reasonable price for the 4 styles and the ease of use. I’ve matched many people with this product, especially beginners that don’t want to spend their whole morning perfecting their brows. I think this is an underrated product that more brands need to offer.
