In a Rush?

Hello beauties,

It is that time of year again. Time for finals. I thought I would share with all of you the makeup look that I do whenever I am in a rush. Personally, I don’t put any makeup on before I take a final because I am more concerned with my sleep and school work that I could not care less about makeup. More people will judge you if you walk into a final exam in full makeup than if you do not.

There are many cases where I am forced to rush my makeup. My idea of rushing is doing all of my getting ready in 30 minutes (including a shower). First, I jump in and take a 15-minute shower (that includes shampooing and shaving). Then, I get out and put on all my clothes, which takes about 5 minutes.

I have 10 minutes left for makeup. I do not do foundation first. I do not like to do foundation first because while I do my eye makeup I rest my hand on my face, and then leave a handprint on my face. First, I moisturize my face and let that sink in while I do my eyes. If I am in a rush, then I just pat on some eyeshadow that matches my skin tone. I quickly apply a winged eyeliner. Then, I use mascara. After, I apply my foundation. I do not use contour, but I do bronze the middle of my cheeks. Then, I put on a light gloss. That all should take about 10 minutes!

I do not really have to worry about doing anything with my hair because I have a spiral perm. Therefore, it dries in curls, so I can not brush my hair or do anything besides dry it usually anyway (which I love). I will definitely get a perm again, and I only need to get them once a year. Getting a perm cut my morning routine down by at least 30 minutes, which is now 30 more minutes for me to sleep. If you want to know more about getting a spiral perm, then let me know in the comments.

That is how I get ready in a rush.

In my next blog, I will be showing the makeup that I did for my birthday (which was May 5th), and below is a preview of that.

I used the eyelashes that I talked about in the last post. Some of these pairs of lashes are bold and some are subtle. I would definitely buy them again in the futures, especially for the cheap price and easy wear. I do suggest going with a black eyelash glue because that will help a lot with the application process of eyelashes.

Stay beautiful.

This post is cute. My “rushed” makeup look consist of blending in some light coverage foundation, using an eyebrow gel on my eyebrows and a pencil to create the tails, and then some mascara and lipgloss.
